Foliage

During my last year of university I took a second course in Environment Art and our project had to be set outdoors. My all time favorite movie is Jurassic Park. I think I watch it at least once a year.. so I decided to go for something based on this world of dinosaurs.

While working on my portfolio, I decided to go back to that Jurassic jungle and fix anything I didn't quite like anymore.
I still have some work to do on that but hopefully I can show you more sometime soon. As of now, here are some of the assets I've created for it :)

This was my first time using speedtree. The two tall and the medium trees were all made in Speedtree. The smaller ferns and flowers were made in Maya. I hand painted the leaves and used my stylized wood material (you can check it out here https://www.artstation.com/artwork/kly9x0) for the rest of the tree.
